Only the handheld vacuum cleaner SHAZ 22.2 D5 with the article number (IAN) 339791_1910 is affected by the recall. You can find the IAN on the type plate of the vacuum cleaner. Other articles of the brand "Silvercrest" are not affected by the recall.

For the affected handheld vacuum cleaners SHAZ 22.2 D5 with the article number (IAN) 339791_1910, we have identified the risk of the vacuum cleaner battery catching fire during charging or use due to individual cases of damage. In the event of a fire, there is a risk of considerable damage to property and personal injury, including death of persons.

Your safety is our top priority. Due to the existing fire hazard, we therefore urgently recommend that you no longer use the affected hand vacuum cleaner with the associated battery with immediate effect.

In order to exclude use by other persons, you should immediately return the affected item to a LIDL shop for disposal.
